Try Not To GASP, Lily From AT&T Left Nothing To The Imagination

Milana Vayntrub, known as “The AT&T Girl,” not only stars in but also directs the AT&T commercials. Since 2013, she has been a familiar face in the ads, but recently she made a significant change. In the latest commercials, her body is mostly hidden behind a counter, a shift from earlier ads where she was fully visible.

Vayntrub explained on Twitter that this change is due to the constant, unwelcome comments she receives about her body. She stated, “You’ve lost the privilege of looking at it until I feel safe again.” Despite her explanation, she continued to face harassment online, prompting support from other Twitter users and celebrities like director Paul Feig, who condemned the behavior.

In 2020, Vayntrub shared that the online comments made her feel like she was being sexually assaulted, reflecting the harsh realities many women face online. AT&T has supported her by removing harmful comments and reaffirming their commitment to respecting women.
